Good location from the Interstate but you have to travel forever to get there. | 3 | | I stopped at the Golden Acorn on the way to and back from Yuma, Arizona. I found the breakfast excellent, the service, excellent. The slot machines were different than the usual ones and even though I didn't have enough time to win....had you had Pai Gow to keep my husband busy, I think we would have stayed longer than the 1-1/2 hours we were there. I'm planning on taking a few friends there, as soon as we can divert our husbands. Good Show guys! | 9 | | Golden Acorn: tonight was my first visit to the cute little casino. It was a great night. I have to thank every single employee between 8Pm and 12 Am.
I didn't even win, yet every single employee made me feel like the biggest high-roller to ever come in. Plus I had the best steak and lobster meal anywhere for $10. You rock and you all deserve props.
I'll be back, and I'm bringing my friends. Thanks so much for making my Mom's 47th birthday so awesome.
| 10 | | You can see it from the I8. It takes less than a minute from the exit to the casino. They also have a gas station and convenience store. The golden Acorn is a mid-size casino that looks new. They have plenty of new slot machines and I did play some black jack at a $3 table. The Players Gold is at the back, but it is not far. It has one restaurant. When I visited the casino in the middle of the day, it was somewhat empty. They have a nice selection of .05 machines. If you are traveling on I8, it is worth a stop. | 7 |
