| Nice place, I will come back. On one visit i won $5,500. and i was very pleased with the staff. When they came to see that i had won they asked for my ss & ID. When they came back they asked me if i wold come to this room next to the soda machine. I said yes when we went in they had the money in cash and gave me a jacket that said jackpot winner.that i didnot like because it makes you a nice target when you come out. | 10 |

| I have visted this casino since 02 very tight. in 05 nice hotel plans in the works. 300 dollars not even a bonus round.

| I visited the Palace on a Friday night. People and Smoke everywhere. Even out side MIlling around. This is a horrable place, Looked like the players came from the working class or field workers. Most with not much money. The machines were very tight and people were begging for money to get home. It was a Horrable place and I hope i never see such highway robbery again. | When I visited they were going from there tent like structure to a more permnament type structure. I found it very crowded w/ lots of lingering secondhand smoke. I also found the way to the casino via hwy 41 somewhat difficult and a little dangerous. There was no real sign nor any lighting for where you are supposed to turn. The buffet for dinner was poorest one I have ever frequented. It would not be a value at any price. The service was also slow even though there were more than enough staff just standing around complaining about their other co-workers. The poker room was very smokey and can be found on the secound floor. I did not enjoy the asthetics nor the constant flow of people around the area of the tables. I guess you can tell my overall experience was poor. I will not be returning. | 3 |
| Upstairs the place is bigger than I thought. I missed some of it on my first visit. They also had several hotdog carts. I cashed out $60 from a machine and the counting machine showed $61. I went back and checked the slot machine and it indicated a payout of 60. So there is a “problem.”
The quail plume buffet at The Palace casino is only so-so. On Saturday, it was 9.99 for a lunch which was ok, but many casinos have better buffets.
Players club card reading test of 14 slot machines: 5 the first time; 7 required 2 tries; 1 required 3 tries; and 1 did not read after 4 tries.

| First time being there. No sign to let you know about free valet parking until parked and walking in. Lots of penny machines (my favorite). | 5 |
| Casino was very clean and the dealers pleasant. Biggest problem was that their where not many blackjack tables, and place was very crowded. People standing two and three deep. | 7 |
| The Palace casino is a little hard to find if you have not been there, particularly if you come on California 41. Parking close can be a problem. Club was easy to find and friendly. Slots appear to be tight. In our tests out of 4 tries, we did not have one winner. They did have free sodas and coffee. In several machines the player’s card did not work. The restrooms were small, but clean. The restaurant looked nice and the casino was well laid out.
