| I enjoyed my time at the casino. They had a non-smoking area which was perfect! The food at the buffet was cheap. It had a wide spread too! The drive was a little windy but great scenery. | 8 |
| My husband and I have been going to River Rock ever since it opened. As a few others have mentioned, we use to be able to win a $100 here and there. Now we never win. Plus they have taken out all of the 5c Keno machines and replaced them with much more expensive slot machines...just to make more money! Also, they have no one line 25c slot machines. River Rock is not a fun place any more to gamble or have a good time with friends...go some place better! | 2 |

| I have gone to River Rock several times. When it first opened, I won a couple of times. $200.00 or more. But someone has tightened those machines so tight, that no one can win anything, now.
I would like to know who decided to tighten the slot machines so tight that it is no longer fun to go there. | 3 |
| I spent my honeymoon night at River Rock (I know, I know, that should have been a sign) First as we arrived to the valet area, my sister in law was exiting the car and suddenly was struck by an incoming SUV, driven by a Employee. We were treated pretty rude at first, as if we caused it. It wasnt until they found out who we were and/or who relatives were that we were given...a free dinner.. lol. The Casino itself is nice, didnt play cards so cant comment on the dealers. Security was all right but the entrance kind of soured my trip. Machines took money in quicker then most with little to no payouts. Left there on a low note. Also Ive applied for the Players Club several times online and no response. Ive been to better and you have too. Plus, ask them where the proceeds are "really" going. Not recomended or worth throwing your money away at. | 2 |
| Terrible experience. Smoke is horrible. Staying there for 20 minutes you feel like you just smoked a carton of cigarettes. Not recommended. | 2 |
| I went to River Rock Casino today for the first time, first time for any Indian Casino. My group did win a bit, and the food was better than ok. My BIGGEST complaint was the smoke. It gave me a headache and I could taste smoke in my mouth. YUCK! That alone will deter me from going there or any smoking casino again. Since the smokers are the minority these days I think they should have the smaller out of the way rooms to play in. The restaurant even smelled of smoke. | 5 |
| river rock's poker room sucks. I pay poker online and decided to go to a real poker room. and I went to river rock's poker room and it was cold...intimidating...nobody greeting you...players are stupid/loud/annoying. basically very un-inviting. you know, it helps to have a greeter at the door saying "good afternoon, can I help you find a seat?
" but no, river rock doesn't have that. just some annoying security idiots who never smiles nor talk to you. | 3 |
| I read in the newspaper that River Rock is just a test to see how well a casino does in theis area. I believe that they know who you are and exactly how often you come there. Have you ever pllayed the Sims Casino game for your PC? When you buil your own casino, run it and manage it? Everyone should check it out and tell me I am wrong for thinking almoist every casino is like that!! It is also just another addiction waiting to happen for some people. | 3 |

| River Rock Casino has the tightest slots of all the casino's i have ever been to,the Casino was packed when i was there and no one was winning anything from the slots that could really be consired anything worth going there for they must have tighten down the slots to pay for their new garage, the security guards are annoying, the food is horrible i will never go back my friends feel the same way,the bay area needs a half way decent casino. | 3 |
| Nice Casino,. convenient for the Bay Area. Machines don't hit like they were when the place first opened up. Friendly atmosphere, although too many Security Guard follow you around, they even hide behind machines to see what you're up to. | 5 |
| River Rock Casino ROCKS! We had a great time. And Left winners! The food was great the staff friendly. Very clean, easy parking,(Tuesday afternoon)the vents are on the floor seemed to keep the smoke under control. Will be going back! | 10 |
| River Rock is the best of the Bay Area-Indian Casinos for gaming. I have played at all of the others and the loosest slots are at River Rock, except for the High-Limit Slots. I have played the $5, $10 and even the $25 slots to the tune of hundreds and hundreds and have not had one payout. However, the 25 cent clost are some of the loosest I have ever played. Video Poker Machines are also amoungst the best I've played. Food is passable and inexpensive. I can live with it! Clean and comfortable as well. | 9 |
| Riverrock is a very nice casino it has a non somking section which i approve so much. Iwas recently there and i was was picked to spin the wheel since i used my players card i won two tickets to ther As basball game at field level which were great seats the person in volved with the tickets also offered me two extra tickets which was great .RIVERROCK is one of the best casinos i play at lot of penny machines no matter if i win or loose i always stand by river rock casino i will always keep going back .workers and staff and security is always very friendly river riock is a fun place to go and as short trip from the bay area. | 10 |
| Love this place. First machine I played (3 pulls in) I won $350. My friend won $850 within 10 mins. Good variety of slots. Two drawback - 1. the air conditioning comes up from the floor and its freezing 2. no liquor license - this is confusing since they're in the middle of the wine country. Geez, plant a vineyard and call your casino a wine tasting room with gaming. The employees are nice and helpful and casino is clean. | 8 |

| Labor Day weekend, 2004. Decided to go with another couple to check out River Rock. As noted in previous reviews, it's a little confusing getting there. Plus we live 30 minutes north of the GGB and it took us an hour to get there with no traffic. The parking is non-existent, but valet service was great. Had to wait in a long line of cars just to get to the parking lot area in front of casino. Okay! Finally in...let's get a beer and walk around. WHAT? No liquor license??? We played a few slots and left. Won a few $$$. The lady next to me hit $450 on the $1 slots. Maybe when it's all done we'll go back, but not before that! Nice facility, nice employees, limited food. | 7 |
| love it there bignonsmoking room in the back lots of penny machines.its a short trip from the bay area.the parking now is not to good use the valet it is free.parkinglot should be done by the end of year .food is not to good could use some new cooks other wise else the casion is great.bad thing is to many orientalscome on the busesandare very rude to people they dont spend money some times they get out of hand saving machines for their friends which is frustrating at times otherwise the casino is great to play at will keep going backas river rock is the best casino for gamblingfrom leaving the bay area over a 2 hour drive .won many times . | 10 |
| This casino is definitely the best of the 4 or 5 around the general area. Pretty good variety of machines and the video poker is pretty decent. It is the closest casino to San Francisco but traffic can be horrendous along 101. Cache Creek is a much better choice.

| The River Rock Casino is lot more qualitative and quanitative. THe actual casino is very nice with great machines and excellent card tables. But the place is a little less quanitative, but that didn't bother me at all. THe staff were EXTREMELY nice and generous, there were free sodas with excellent cheap priced food and it had a very clean and luxurious look to it, sort of like the new casinos in Vegas. As for your ability to win, lets just say it this way. I played blackjack for about two hours and I won over $400. Even though its 3 hour drive there and back from my house (I live in the NorthBay), I plan on going back there every week or two. If I would give it a grade I would easily give it an A+. | 10 |
| You can see the River Rock Casino from 101; but then there is a zigzag drive on a few miles to get there. More signs along the way would be beneficial. While the casino is nice inside there is currently construction on a parking structure which makes the parking lot too small. I used Valet parking because I could not find a parking spot. The valet parking was free. The players club is right when you come in the front entrance. River rock has too many $1 machines for a casino of its size. My machine test: three losers out of three machines. I had to wait to cash out.
I had the buffet lunch which is not fancy, but tasted good. The view from the dining room is nice. I plan to go back once the construction is complete.

| Been there a few times NO FREE SODA! and had a problem finding parking and didnot win | 4 |
| It's OK, but kind of a pain to get to. Once you're there it's a confusion of construction, delays, poor parking. Inside it's well laid out, but I couldn't get the slot attendant's attention when I needed him. I played for almost 3 hours and didn't win any jackpots over $10. | 6 |
| I Love River Rock Casino!! I've been to many Indian Casino's in Northern California and River Rock is my favorite. Other Indian casinos claim to be friendly but River Rock's staff do a great job keeping the place fun as well as clean. There's always someone wiping down the slot machines and re-arranging the chairs. The cashier staff are just as happy as I am when I cash in my scripts. It is never overcrowded like Cache Creek Casino and the patrons that visit River Rock are very nice people. I don't know about others, but I certainly get nice payouts when I play various slot machines. The resturant food, either buffet or ordering from the menu, is excellent. Another great feature of River Rock is the view from the outside patio... a beautiful scenery of vineyards and rolling hills. Wonderful casino! | 10 |
