| Review | Rate | | this is one of the last great club card rooms in the bay area. Though there is only poker 5 nights a week, the games are always lively and the players make you feel at home even if its your first time playing. The sunday omaha tournament is one of the only of its kind and a great way to learn omaha if you have never played it. The small club really makes you feel at home. Club San Rafael has everything you could want in one place. It is a bar, restaurant(serves food till 1am!), has pool and darts, tons of tvs with every sports game available, and cards all in one location. I always have a blast when I go down to Petes! | 10 | | This is a bar, not a poker room. When they have a game running, it is generally only one table, sometimes two. They offer 3/6 Holdem and Omaha. Tournaments on Saturday, but the structure is weak. The only way to win is to pay for the one-time rebuy. The structure is fast at the end leaving it to luck instead of skill. | 3 |
