We visited Gold Country Casino and Hotel for 3 days/nights. Both the Casino and the Hotel are very nice. The rooms are very large and quite elegant. We are serious slot players and they have a very good selection of machines. Their machines are the loosest that we have found in Northern California. We have visited 30+ casinos in California plus several more in Nevada and other states. We normally play in Southern California where there is more large casinos and competition resulting in looser machines generally speaking. They ended up by comping us for the hotel and all our food which is par with the other casinos we frequent.
The food is not the best but is OK. My major complaint is that many of the machines would not accept the new bills. All in all we were pleased and will go back in a couple of weeks. | 9 |
| Drove 2 hours to get here. they Would not take cash for hotel room, even with deposit! Desk clerk was rude about me not having enough on credit card for room, I had plenty of cash, guess that wasnt good enough. Made the mistake of staying and playing anyways. What a waste of time. In 2 hours of play on 9 different machines lost 600 dollars. NOT ONE PAYOUT!! Will not return here!!!! | 2 |
| If you want to play one or two cents machines, this is the place to go. A wide variety of multi-denomonation machines. Lots and lots of different fun machines with good payouts on the bonus rounds. Also, for those who like to play bingo, although the bingos pay from $500 to $700, most of the time they don't have large crowds, so you have a chance to win. | 8 |

| Gold Country Casino has construction where they are building a new casino. There were signs on highway 70 for Gold Country Casino.
The existing gold country casino, it is sort of confusing. Next to the front door was the gold country casino players club which I joined and received a ticket for the summer kick-off drawing. The layout of the casino is confusing, I assume it has grown and grown. There was a mix of machines. There was a wait to cash out. The restrooms smelled a little. They had free sodas and coffee. The Gold Country casino Staff was friendly. I will visit again when the new Casio opens.
