i went a year ago and it was awful it was small, it smelled bad, and the people there were not friendly and the food tasted like it came out of a can!!!!7
The parking lot is paved and has excellent parking for the traffic. Security and lights also make you feel comfortable. The inside entry seems to be more open and does not have the closed in feeling. We only played the table games, i.e. blackjack and pai gow but the dealers were friendly. The road is winding and it does have speed bumps the last mile to protect the community from speeders going both directions. Overall I liked the casino.7
I have gone to eagle mountain since 2001. There are many slots and a few tables (more slots) A few of the slots still take coins/tokens. They do not have a hotel but Porterville is close with reasonable rates. The best times are the early hours. During peak periods you may have to park at a lot away from the casino and ride a bus in. The parking lots are unpaved. This has been a gripe for sometime among the guests. There is a buffet and a snack bar. Servers do come around with water, soda, and coffee. After the expansion in 2003 things seemed to tighten up. They may have loosened recently. I see some winning at times on slots. I won a 850.00 progressive on a nickel slot. Dollar slots seem to pay ok but be careful. Overall I can suggest a trip.7
Eagle Mountain has buses that take you to/from the Casino at the Bus Depot/Wal Mart. Food is fair. Save Mart gives you a coupon on back of your receipt for a free buffet with purchase of a buffet. Most machines are tight but Yahoo! when one finds the loose ones. If you see a drink server that may mean a lot of people there or loose machine alert. Speed bumps are necessary. I vote "Yea!" for a move to the Hwy 190. Me and my hubby have been going to EMC every week for several years. We cut back a little due to my work schedule, so we go about three times a month when they have a promotion. I do wish they had a "No Smoking" section maybe when they move to Hwy 190 :) There is no alcohol served at EMC. A plus-due to the long winding roads to the casino. A lovely "slow" drive.10
Eagle mountain casino is hard to get to and has the worse parking of any casinos in California. The game or just about average. The working people there smile sometime. all and all. Fair place.4
I have been going to Eagle Mt. for a couple years up until recently. The buffet's food quality and choices are a joke. They have raised the prices for rotten food. (Stick to the nanchos)The parking is the worst I have seen for the amount of $$ they make because the slots have gotten so tight. A person can go through 1000 bucks and not hit or go to any bonus rounds on slots. 2
Rating this casino against the other local ones in our area, this one just does not stack up. Poor service, tighter machines(it seems), terrible food at their so called buffet. Parking sucks, and those speed bumps play hell on you suspension system and undercarriage.4
The drive was long, but nice drive through the mountains. Speed bumps were numerous, but I asked and its because of children on the Reservation that have been hit by speeding cars in the past. Had a variety of machines to play, and I actually left as a winner! Service was a bit slow, but very courteous. A drink server came by about every 1/2 hour and asked if I needed a drink. The food was excellent.8
Eagle mountain Casino is ways from Potterville. The road is not great with the last parts having 8 speed bumps that can be hard to see. There were lots of staff running around, but seamed to be busy talking to each other. When a machine printer jammed, it took some time and some effort to get help. Trying to cash out was hard; the first two cashier’s cages were closed and third had a wait. Rest rooms are in need of additional maintenance.4
