Nice place to visit. Compare it to Table M. this one is great.7
Have been going to Chumash for years. The payout used to be good. The past few years the slots have been getting tighter and tighter. I have not seen anyone win in the past 8 times I have gone. And needless to say, I have not won. I will not be back. I am truly disappointed that Chumash has gotten so greedy. My extended family feels the same way. Also, we used to get $20 in free play and now we get $5. So disappointed!!!2
Greeting. Good habits, which bring our lower passions and appetites under automatic control, leave our natures free to explore the larger experiences of life. I am from Bulgaria and too poorly know English, please tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Stuck on how to write a bibliography? Here are a few basic rules for getting one together." Thank :D Khalil.2
Disapointed once more at the Chumash,,,we have been going for several years and it is obvious that they have tweeked the machines! at least in the last two months,,,certain banks remain empty because of poor percentage payout,,,it is too crowded on the weekends, too much smoke and too many "weirdos" looking over your shoulder while you play.4
CAR GIVE AWAYS ARE SELECTED BY COMPUTER AND THE MEMBER WHO HAVE PUT THE MOST MONEY IN THE SLOT MACHINES WINS .NOT FARE AT ALL PLEASE STOP DUPING US AND PLAY FARE... 3
Dinner in the Willows Restaurant was excellent - Gen and I took Betty Spaghetti out for her special lobster dinner and it was fantastic. We also had a bottle of the Paso Robles cabernet and it was a fine accompaniment to the delicious halibut dinner and the best cooked filet mignon ever. The service was great as well.8
I was very happy at chumash last saturday, I won in 2 slot machines the total of $3000.00. It was my first time. I do not really have any complaints about the place except for the smeel of the cigarettes. Everything went well- I guess a positive outlook in life goes a long way. I will go back and tell my friends. THINK POSITIVE PEOPLE!!!!! 9
OK NOW YOU LOOK LIKE A REAL CASINO EXCEPT YOU STILL HAVE THE SLOT WOUND UP TIGHT AS A DRUM,FOLKS THIS IS HOW IT WORKS AT THE CHUMASH,if you for example start out with a thousand dollars depending on what machine you play you can pretty much kiss it good byesame machine you put another thousand dollars in to it bingo the symble line up the machine stops you just won a jackpot but quess what your jackpot is somewhere between 1500 to 2000.you didnt win anything but your money back .THATS HOW THERE MACHINE ARE SET UP,dont believe me try it out and see now thats if your lucky if your not you just lost 2000.and that means nothing to the casino hosts they expect you to loose and you get nothing comped except a meal ,loosing that much money on a regular bases they should give out benifits like VEGAS DOES...I STOPPED PLAYING THERE AND GO TO VEGAS FOR FREE ALL THE TIME .COMP OH BUT THEY DO LOOK LIKE A REAL CASINO NOW THEY JUST DONT PAY LIKE ONE...5
car drawings should be picked in front of the crowd with members players cards in a big metal drum to assure fairness not by computer who you guys program !come on chumash we are not stupid.play fare!!!!!!thats all we ask....quit trying to dupe us!!!!!!or we will continue to expose your lies...1
the casino was nice and clean, and most of the people were friendly. some dealers were nasty faggets, but i was up $200, but then i blew it cause the dealers would always hit a random 21 against my 20.. but oh well, its a decent casino7
People, please believe all of the negative comments about this money sucking casino. I started going before the new casino was built and I have seen the machines being sysgematically tightened up to the point where the jackpots are rare and if you stay on a machine and happen to jackpot, 99% of the time, you end up losing money on it anyway. that sucks big time. I used to do well there. but now I refuse to go. I have been treated like a peasant and rudely by the floor supervisors although I was a "high roller." The staff discriminates between those who appear to have lots of money and those who do not, by appearance only. The amount of comps and cash back on the cards is the lowest I have ever seen, a pitence compared to what is spent. The casino needs some competition. It is the only one within hours of driving time and the managers, financial officers who run the place take full advantage of it. PLAYERS BEWARE. GO ELSEWHERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE FOR 5 HOURS. It will save you a lot of money.1
Since the new building that houses the casino and the hotel went in you cannot win a thing. Machines are tight, tight, tight. 4
Dreadful Casino. As they are the only casino in town or any nearby area, they make their machines soooooo tight that it is impossible to win. The food is dreadful. Not a place to go under any condition. They just want the money....1
I RAISE MY EYEBROW WITH CHUMASH CASINO AT TIMES ITS GREAT FOR SLOT PLAYERS AND AT OTHER TIMES IT SUCKS.THE CAR GIVE AWAYS THAT IS ALWAYS GOING ON I BELIEVE IS NOT FARE FOR THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE THAT WAIT IN HOPES OF WINNING A NEW CAR,ARE ALL LET DOWN AGAIN WHEN A SELECT FEW PEOPLE SEEM TO ALWAYS WIN THEM ,WHEN ASKED WHY THE ANSWER I GOT WAS WELL HE PLAYS ALOT. I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE A MORE LEGET RANDOM DRAWING,THEY SAY THEY HAVE ONE ,BUT COME ON WERE NOT STUPID,SOMETIMES LAS VEGAS SEEMS LIKE ITS GETTING CLOSER TO TRAVEL TOO.HINT HINT 5
-10!! Horrible casino. Bad service, unwinnable gamming, paltry cash back, rude staff, small, crowded and bad parking. Never going back!!1
09/02/2005 I have been to this casino three times. The casino is very nice with a theater and free live stage. You can go to the free drink bar (no booze) for a soda, water or coffee. I play slots but the tables seemed full. There are many 5,25,50 and 1 dollar slots I went on fridays and it pertty busy but you could still play. 1st night took 600 on dollar slots seen others doing ok as well. The other two times I lost. Nice drive through wine country and Solvang is close by. I can recomend for a vist.7
I like Chumash casino, the poker room is amazing and the dealers are nice, Shana, i love you!8
Have gone to Chumash Casino twice. Both enjoyable trips. Played High limit slots and did well both times. Watched one individual hit a big win on multiple line machine. Simple Buffet but very clean and service was exceptional from several employees. Noted good security. Felt comfortable here with my family.7
The casino parking was huge. The hotel was booked so i didnt have a chance to see there rooms, but there was several locations less than a mile away that was really cheap. I played in the tournament on sunday and placed 2nd i had a great time and will return with more friends.9
This place is great. I won $200 in 15 min playing blackjack, than make $100 playind 3-card poker. The Sunday no limit tournaments are a really good time.10
I don't see why anyone would have a problem with the poker room at Chumash, I'm not rating other games because I don't play them. The rake is cheap, they have 2-4, 3-6, 4-8, 6-12, Omaha, 7 card stud, and no limit games where you can buy in for $100 or $200, (and nothing else). All games are available on an everyday basis. Food is whatever, mediocre but cheap, and the service is good apart from the busy weekends. Tournaments are great, and Ive never had to wait more than 25 mins for a table, even when it was packed. Dealers are friendly and likeable, apart from Jere, what a biatch. 20059
I have never been in a Poker Room any where that gave more back and more often to its customers. The Sunday morning No-Limit tournament is the best regularly running event I've ever seen. Customers and staff freindliest anywhere.10
The first time we went, we had a good time. I play video poker and was able to play awhile and come out a few dollars ahead. The next two times, the machines sucked my money in in a matter of minutes. I have no desire to go back again.2
some of the friendliest dealers i have ever had the pleasure of playing with. danny, matt, cindy, gregg, marie, sonus. all just a few i can remember. i lost my butt, but i had a great time. the floor staff could use some cheering up though. 7
One of the best Poker rooms I've played at. I was on the waiting list for less than 10 minutes, and played a no limit $100 buyin game. The floor mgrs and dealers were polite and professional. And, regarding a previous complaint here about standing up in a hand, the dealer was quite correct to muck the hand! I think the floor was generous to return the players bet too. I highly recommend this Poker room. No comment on the rest of the Casino, as I only play Poker. 9
Poker Room Review: Average sized poker room (~20 tables). The floor staff is good. However, the dealers are rude and obnoxious. I don't mean to use a cliche but it is true. I was in the middle of a hand (I had a good hand and would have won) but the dealer folded my hand when I stood up to take my jacket off! One of the regulars complained that I was trying to see other cards. Ridiculous. The floor manager returned my bets but that was small consolation.5
I used to go to the casino, it was fun, and alot of the same people were there, that made it worth going. Things have changed. The machines are very different, not much fun. I can go to vegas and get the same treatment. The casino just wont give the warm welcome they once did. 5
Chumash is not a gambler's casino. The machines are tight as a drum and BJ is unwinable. I saw one lady lose 20 hands in a row. The buffet is a joke wuth may be 10 selections. The player's car is lame, no comp room, cash back is puney. I hate seeing tip box at the cage. You can tell they just need the money for the renovation. Security gaurd are lame, hassling me for lying on a sofa. Take you gaming elsewhere. Chumash sucks!1
I have been going to the Chumash Casino for many years. The casino is 99% better then it was a couple of years ago and gets better every month. They are still doing some construction. There are a few rude employees but for every one rude employee there are 50 nice ones that will help you with a smile. If you are in the area I would recomend that you go there. It's not Vegas but it is a lot closer.10
i will not return ,any casino that employees a 21 floorman like ben schaub will not get our money he was rude to guests and mean to the dealers , i asked a dealer about bens behavior, she said some how he gets away with being rude to guests and dealers we will never return because of ben7
I regularly play in the Poker room, both stakes hold'em and tourneys. The dealers are mostly good. There are generally a lot of players, and the waits are not too long on weekends. My only complaint is that they only have No-Limit Holdem on Friday and Saturday pms. With so many players interested in NL, why only Frid & Sat? 7
I'm talking strictly poker here. They have an absolutely awesome poker room. It is run well, the dealers are friendly, and the games are lively. If you play poker, stop here. I've played blackjack there also, have not had any problems. 7
I went to the Chumash Casino on May 16th for the first time. The layout is attractive, the restaurant has excellent service and the food was good. The machines did not seem generous but actually I did not do too badly. Blackjack is my game generally and after playing for only about 30 minutes and being up about $200 I witnessed an event that convinced me to never enter the Chumash Casino again under any circumstances. My reason, when there is a dispute, the pit supervisor cheats the players. To explain, there was a table full of bad hands and the dealer showing a three. Everyone stayed but the player in the last position signaled several times for a hit but the dealer ignored him. The dealer then turned his hole card giving him a 13 and hit a six for 19, and began taking everyone's money. The player who had wanted a hit (he had 12) was still asking for it so the dealer called over a supervisor. This supervisor first looked over the table and decided that the dealer keeps his 19 and the last player could have a hit which turned out to be a 10, which would have busted the dealers hands if things had been dealt correctly. One player got angry, said it was wrong and left. I was watching and decided that purposely taking people's bets because of an error that the dealer even admitted making was purely dishonest and if it is a policy of the Chumash to steal from their customers, I will make sure I am not one of them. Security very rude! Accused me of being someone who goes around the casino looking to steal players credit. They claimed I intentionally took credits from another player who had left the slot machine I decided to play. About 20 minutes had gone by. Without presenting any proof, Security accused me of taking the credits and demanded I repay it. Need to say I will never return to this casino. 1
Slots In $225.00; Out $172.60 as follows: Played $5.00, cashed out $0.40; $20.00 to $11.20; $20 to $16.00; $20 to $24.75;$20 to $0; $20 to $2.00; $20 to $77.00; $20 to $0; $20 to$9.50 $20 to $14.45;$20 to $17.30; $20 to $0.00 7
Slot Machines - Played $225, returned $172.60 (-52.40)Variety of machines, most interesting was a roulette with a wheel and ball, (Betting was not great for multiple numbers, but the next generation may be good). Highest Slot machine win from $20 was $77; also lost $20 from $20.Black Jack – Played $80, came out with $100 (+$20)Dealer was friendly enough, only two $5 tables, a few $10 and more. Never could get a seat at the $5. Cashier was friendly. She was also helpful in giving me records.Parking – No signs along the way, confusing entry with the busses next to cars; person directing traffic was not helpfulI just followed the cars. The new entry is under construction (Casino Dr), hopefully is will be ready in a few months.Toilets: In one restrooms, 3 of the 5 stalls were out of order (women). One of the men’s was not recently cleaned.Buffet – No worth the $12.99 for a Sunday. The deserts were good; sausage and bacon were cold, there was not a good selection of fresh bread. Next time we will stop for lunch in Solvang.6
