Cache Creek Casino has expensive machines that pay you nothing in return. This casino is very unfriendly and nothing to go out of your way for. You literally have to fight for a slot machine. Go some place else!1
1-11-09 Good Looking casino with the tightest machines me and my group of players have ever experienced. Usually when the 4 of us are playing a bank of slots together one of will win Big one lose and 2 break about even, we all just lost and lost and lost and saw not one person in the casino win more than a few pennies.1
Best poker room in northern california. Period10
really rude drink servers, you will die of thirst waiting for a drink. the change machines are often empty the wait in line for change is unreal. the rooms are very nice, however a two night stay is a car payment. 7
look at the taj mahal its made from money people havelost gambling sucks at cache creek tight machines rude staff poor quaility gambling look nice clean but its all made from their tight machines will never go back advice stay away save your money big joke1
I HAVE BEEN TO CACHE CREEK 5 TIMES AND TODAY WAS THE WROST TIME I HAVE EVER HAD. THERE DRINKS ARE $5.50 A PIECE, AND YOU CANT GET A DRINK AT YOUR SLOT MACHINE WHATS THE POINT!!!!! THEIR SLOT MACHINE REALY SUCK. IF YOU WANT TO QUITE GAMBLING GO TO CACHE CREEK THEY STRAIGHT ROB THEIR CUSTOMERS, YOU WILL NEVER GAMBLING AGAIN ONCE YOU HAVE PLAYED AT THAT CASINO. I KNOW AFTER SPENDING $600 IN A 3 HOUR PERIOD WITH NO PAYBACK NOT EVEN A THRID PERCENT OF YOUR MONEY BACK THATS A HOLD UP WITH NO GUN. GO TO THUNDER VALLEY MY FRIEND AND I BOTH HIT $2500 WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF EACH OTHER THE PAYOUTS ARE 90% VERSE 1% AT CACHE CREEK I KNOW I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT CASINO AGAIN!!!! 1
On 09/15/06 Ivisited the casino and for the first time I was approached by a man that asked for money. He might of been drinking but I feel very uncomfortable being solict in a casino. I am hesitant about coming back.7
The staff is unfriendly. I played one hour before someone asked if I wanted a drink.I play the slots which are very tight.I have played many times at all the nothern Calif. casinos. This one is the worst of them all. THE BEST ONE IS Jackson Racheria.1
DONT GO TO ANY INDIAN CASINO IN CALIFORNIA. THE INDIAN CASINOS REALLY ARE A JOKE.IF YOUR A SLOT MACHINE PLAYER OR A VIDEO POKER PLAYER.In the STATE OF CALIFORNIA THIER IS NO MINUMIN PAYBACK PERCENTAGE on SLOT MACHINES in california.IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT TO WHAT I AM SAYIN ABOUT SLOT MACHINES PAYBACK PERCENTAGES IN CALIFORNIA CHECK OUT THE CALIFORNIA GAMING COMMISION and the VIDEO POKER MACHINES AT INDIAN CASINOS NORMALLY HAVE HORRIBLE PAYTABLES. Even the comp cards in indian casinos suck they dont really offer you anything.IF YOUR GOING TO GAMBLE GAMBLE IN NEVADA. In NEVADA the MINIMUN PAYBACK PERCENTAGE ON SLOT MACHINES IS 75% BY LAW CHECK OUT THE NEVADA GAMING COMMISION. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR GAMBLE IN NEVADA RENO,VEGAS YOU WILL HAVE A MUCH BETTER CHANCE OF ACTUALLY WINNING MONEY AND IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A COMP CARD YOU WILL PROBALY GET SOME FREE FOOD IF YOU GAMBLE AT THE LEAST FREE ROOM OFFERS BY MAIL. GOOD LUCK 1
I have played only blackjack there and i have never won. the tables are always full, and when the tables avg about 3 players per game they shut down tables to add players per table. i seem to loose more often when more players are at the table. also, i find the cramped experience unpleasant. also, the cops are always on the small road going there. mind the speed.4
By comparison Cache Creek is a good place to play. Like every other casino, your time is usually determined by winning and losing. Of course losing is the most possible situation so more good than bad reviews are to be expected, but as far as cleanliness and quality of service, chances are this is the best place to be. No matter where you play, you are always going to be gambling, and when you gamble at casinos the odds are always in favor of the house. My advise is play at the casino that is closest to home because the drive home sux when you lose.9
i lika play there i am 18 and never get carded i love it there plenty of women to get and they give more for the money7
Over the past few years I have been to Cache Creek several times. I have always found the Buffett to be very good, especially the home style fried chicken. Beautiful Building but that is from all the losses that patrons have left there. Do not expect to go and win money. I have only left twice with winnings in my pocket. I am strictly a slot machine player. My experience along with others that I have spoken to would be better if the pay back percentages were not so tight. 4
Hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. Food at the buffet was good and offerred a nice variety for dinner. Coffee Shop food was tasty and portions were large. Casino was extremely smokey even in the small non smoking section. Machines were extremely tight. Payouts are much better in Nevada. On a 25 cent Keno machine, hitting 5 out of 5 pays you $202.50 most places in Nevada. At Cache Creek hitting 5 out of 5 pays you 225 credits $56.25. I think it's worth the extra 2 hours to drive to Reno or Lake Tahoe.5
I had a great time. Room was fabulous. Craps crews were very friendly (2 sessions). There should be more .25 poker machines, with different variations, but i won $1100 at the .50 progressive. i ended up net $1500 winner, so i will be back. Food was just ok. Reasonable price but not much for flavor (the mexican restaurant). 8
I find going to this casino on weekdays is better than going on weekends. Weekends are too crowded with people coming from the bay area and some weekends people are waiting to get on a machines unless you are there around 3:00 or 4:00 am. Weekdays you have a better chance of getting on a machine you want to play instead of playing machines you don't like, just because you can't find any machines not being played. Also, they need to have multi-denomination machines one/two/five cents. 6
We think Cache Creek is nice. Excellent food and the machines give you some kick back. The alcohol is very pricey so bring your own. We rate this place better than most.8
The machines in Cache Creek are extremely tight. Don't go there. It's a rip off.1
I have been to several casinos worldwide which of course includes Vegas and Reno. I like others arrived at Cache Creek with low expectations, however left extremely satisfied. The food was very good. I had no problem with the service. No I didn't have much in depth dialog with some of the dealeres (just like Vegas). I found the machines to be decent. 2 out of the 3 of us left actually making money on the slot machines. I have left Vegas most of the time losing money. I realize that the next time I go to Cache Creek, I will probaly lose money as well. Thats why they call it gambling.Overall we had a great time and will certainly return again to give back the money I won on my last trip.8
Reading the reviews posted earlier, my two friends and I went to the casino with really low expectations. Our experience turned out to be very different from many other postings. Nice place, dealers were friendly and one of my friend won a slot machine jockpot too. For sure we had goodtime. We returned returned home very satisfied. Sateeesh7
I went recently because of both their new commercials and after reading how much they had changed. Well, yes, the casino has changed and is much bigger and cleaner. BUT their dealers are still non-friendly - they don't "play" with you at all. Pretty much all they do is deal the cards - no conversion with the players. Their video poker STILL have lousy odds too. I won't be going back.3
Food was excellent. Compare to Jackson Rancheria. Jackson can’t compete. The waitress at Cashe Creek was excellent. Always there to refill you berverage. The best Indian casino food around… And I’ve been around…7
The comments are correct. Cache Creek is not the casino to go. With very tight machines, all money goes to the casino not players. 3
What a waste of gas money and gambling the worst of all casinos i been to.Rude staff no sodas to many people playing bingo tight machines seen no winners. No wonder where the money is comming from to pay for the taj majal tight machines they need toi clean up there machines and also rid there bingo callers they are to full of errors what happened to the old callers they made bingo fun.Cache creek is no fun been to lot of casinos and i rate there gambling the worst and staff the rudest of people. If you want a good time go to RIVERROCK CASINO or JACKSONRANCHERA THEY TREAT PEOPLE WELL HAVE NICE STAFF AND ALWAYS BRING AROUND SOMTHING TO DRINK AND BETTER ATMOSPHERES.1
10/18/2004 We have visited over 30 casinos in California. This one is a 10 for glitz and glamor. Very nice place. Buffet very nicely laid out with view seating available. However that is where it ends. The machines are very tight. Nobody was winning. The food is mediocre at best. The lunch buffet was only $3.99 but the quality of the food was lower than that. This casino reminds me of Agua Caliente in Palm Desert except the food is excellent at Agua Caliente. However they are both tight. Table Mountain in Fresno is definitely a better choice.3
If you want to avoid the crowd you need to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday morning before 11:00 AM. Have been going here since it was a small bingo parlor. I think $2.00 coffee and $2.00 cookies are a bit much. I also think the machines got tight when they moved into the new casino. The food is not bad however. 7
Cache Creek in 2003 was very exciting, many winners. Cache Creek in 2004 appears to be making up for the construction cost. One of my favorite progressive slots that usually average $15k has max at $100k with no winner in site. It's time to find a new casino.3
went to cache creek big disappointment did not win at bingo; slots were very tight did not see many winners hard to get change and drinks staff is very rude the casino is a big joke i cant see what people see in cache creek, i wont be ever going back a waste of time and money if you hear about people talk of cache creek there lying the gambling is depressing and there is no fun would not recomend cache creek to anybody rater go to oakland and shoot craps in a dark alley cache creek sucks1
I've been going to Cache Creek for at least 7 years. However, since the new casino opened, the tech service is practically non-existent as well as their beverage service to players. Employees never look happy. The machines rarely pay, or you have to wait for a machine. Too bad, it was close and I always had a good time.7
Cache Creek was a pleasant suprise. Most of the indian casinos I've been to have been dumpy. Cashe Creek has a beautiful large casino with lots of slots and a variety of table games. I actually won $100+ on several machines...and I never. The food was good as well. 9
First trip to Cache Creek my wife hit a $400.00 jackpot after playing $6.00 off the Twenty she put in Then she had a lot of wins I ended up watching my wife win-win-win we spent about 4 hours there had a nice big meal enjoyed our visit there and came home way ahead Very pleased although I did have one issue I put two coins in a slot that looked like it took only 2 coins but it descretly showed that for a certain jackpot you needed to put in a third, I found this out by getting that lucky win on 2 coins thus no pay-out that would have been another $150.00 win. oh well we made money off them anyhow lesson learned, always hit "max bet" to know for sure!8
Cache Creek Casino Resort - EXTREMELY FAMILY HOSTILE. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY TO CACHE CREEK CASINO. Even though it advertizes itself as a resort. It is no Vegas or Reno. My wife was carrying my 2 years old daughter hanging out in the hotel lobby and near the fountain outside the hotel. The security guards sent 6 guys gang up on her screaming at her and my child. They said children or anyone under 21 are only allowed to hang out in the restaurant or the room. Nowhere else! Not even in the hotel lobby or outside the casino. The guards were extremely rude. SO DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY THERE. IT IS NOT A FAMILY VACATION PLACE.1
I liked Cache Creek Casino.8
not worth the trip new casino is way over crowed.Played bingo lines were ove a hour wait to get your packs. Had no luck in bingo to hard to win as more seats were added to new bingo hall.Very hard to win played slotsand the same nothing spent 100 on slots played 5 machines allvery tight lost 100 in 20 min wont be going backvery crowded and staff is very rude no sodas or drinks cache creek is not worth the drive very nice looking casino but gambling is no good .Prefer to drive to other casinos which i seem to have better luck and a better time .1
I have been to Cache Creek a number of times ever since it started and it is the only casino moving slot machines most of time. I have gone to las vegas and reno and to other indian casinos and I can play the machines I like most at same location. Players can win small consolations prizes but never a jackpot because the machine is gone. This is great strategy for a casino whose slogan is " Winning is Evething" and it is for Cache Creek.4
went to the new casino::video poker has rip off odds,no way to win..no free player drinks, stale donuts (at seven in the morning)buffet lunch is 17.95 pretty expensive for a lunch.speed traps all over getting to the casino.(the locals and police hate cache creek).i wouldnt rave about any of the food or service we have recieved..now i notice most indian casino's have done away with an e-mail to contact them..must be all complaints.when they had an e-mail i was told they have a bank of 9-6 dollar progressive video slots..when we got there no such machines exist..i have read three books on video poker and all three authors say to stay completley away from indian casino's..im a believer now...they are a rip..7
Cache Creek is a beautifule resort/casino in a beautiful location. It is the only casino in Norther California that can match the big ones on Southern California. Good variety of machines and prettty loose I usually come out ahead. Excellent buffet and restaurants. It does get very crowded. 9
I like the cache creek when it just started. With the new building , machines are always broken. Most of my friends would not come back. Machines are just getting money and it looks like customers are paying the costs of a new building. Time to find another casino in Ca with better service.7
The new casino is bigger but not better. They can now accomodate a lot more people and yet the service did not increase. There's only one cashier cage and one set of restrooms in the main casino. You spend so much time in line it's ridiculous. Oh yeah, forget about getting a complimentary beverage, the servers are non existent. If you find one and was able to place an order, don't bother waiting because they don't come back. That's happened to me twice and I played on the same machine for almost 3 hours!!2
Will never go back new casino is a big joke and a bigger rip off . all people who iasked when went there said will never return machinesdont pay eats your money like termites staffis rude poor service new casino is cramped.i would not advise to go to to cache creek as it will result inno fun also should stop running ther ads on tv as a fun place gamblingthere is depressing and no fun i would not recomend to my worst enemy7
The new Cache Creek Casino Resort is much better than the old one. It has 200 gest rooms which are clean and nice. There are plenty of slot machines availble. The dollar machines are not too tight. The restraunts offer variety of good food. There are also entertainment show in the main hall. We had good times at this casino. By the way, the attends are very friendly.9
The old casino at Cache Creek was small and often overcrowded, but the new, much larger building is a lot better. Most of the video poker machines are of the "short pay" variety, but there are several banks of 9/5 Jacks or Better that pays 98.5% with perfect play. That's 1% less than the "full pay" games in Reno and Vegas, but when you consider the price of gas in the Bay Area it ain't too bad. 7
went to cash creak it is a long drive from bayy area for me i prefer reno and keno that is what i do. 5
I think that indian casino cache creek sucks. it's dirty, it stinks and i had the worst time ever there. I love gambling but it will be a cold day in hell before i waste my gas to drive there again. Oh, yea and trying to get a drink there is like trying to get a salamander in a dried up creek.1
We play mostly nickel vidio poker although we do play slots also. We live in the Sacramento area and have gone to the new Cache Creek Casino but they have only 4 nickel vidio poker.5
Cache Creek has recently opened the new casino. It is very nice with plenty of space between the machines. The club was near the entrance from the parking structure. For joining, I got a slot machine pull which resulted in a free hat as a prize. It has a wide selection of slot machines with plenty of .25. The 0.25 wheel of fortune were always in use. Christa played the dollars instead and won $50 on the wheel on the first play and then 5 minutes later a $100 from the wheel of fortune. The view was nice as well. The restrooms are nice and clean. It is worth a visit. As an added benefit, it has a gas station and a convenience store helping to start the trip home well prepared.9
